Sour Good News

The last two days, I have just been at home resting because I woke up with a fever on Monday and swollen throat and my body ached all over. This evening as I was resting after one of my heavy sleeping periods, I get a text message from Caroline saying "Guess who got a promotion today?!:)" This is probably one of the saddest text messages that I have ever received. This means that she will be going to be leaving N Arlington for Southlake, and her last day is Feb 24. Kudos for Caroline, she needs and wants the promotion, but the branch will no longer be the same at all. Caroline is normally my energy drink when she is there, whenever she is gone, it just feels like a depression without her. *tear*

Fitness update

Like I said I would do, I have been making sure that I am getting appropriate excercise. Today I walked three miles at River Legacy and feel fantastic. I even had a healthy sub sandwhich at work. Kudos to me!

Fitness

At work to kick off the new year, Frost wanted to make sure that their employees are being healthy, so they gave everyone the option to enroll in the Virgin HealthMiles program. I received my GoZone pedometer yesterday and activated it today. The program is pretty cool because you can earn up to $300 a year. Now that I have my pedometer I am going to make myself walk more during the week to ensure I make the extra mula. I have done about 4500 steps today and plan on doing many more in the future.

Weekend

Howdy everybody!
It has been a while since I have updated, and it is about time that I finally taken the time to do so. Last week was very long, but at least I got the joy of having the whole three day weekend off, I am very excited, YAY!!!
On Friday, I made some jello shots, and boy were they yummy.
Saturday night, Dyan (Dianne, because people never take the time to read and pronounce her name correctly) & I went to Scat Jazz Lounge in downtown Fort Worth, and I really enjoyed myself. Connie(co-worker) and her husband finally made it around 10:30-11. We had so much fun listening to live music, talking, and watching people dance. I definitely would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get out and have fun for the night.
I checked the mail today because I didn't yesterday and to my surprise, my passport was in there and I was super excited, I only applied on January 6, and I didn't even pay for expedited service, how great is that?!

Summer is Gone and Fall is Here

I realize that it has been a while since I have updated, but maybe that will lead to a better post today. I miss the Summer but I am enjoying the Fall weather, especially since Ike made the weather very pleasant for us North Texans.
I am sad that I didn't get to swim as much as I would have pleased, but the times that I did get to swim were very pleasant.
I would like to have a outdoor party next month, or early next month with the fam, but I don't know if that is a good idea or not, although it would be nice to have some fun outside with all the kids and be as loud as we want to be.
I have been walking at River Legacy, trying to lose some weight and get a little more active, it has been great.
I have some summer photos, although not as many as I would have pleased.

Welcome Home

Courtney & David have made their return from Kansas. Courtney is annoying me at this moment because she is wanting to use my La Computadora. Ima punch her in the face if she don't stop bothering me.

I am about to go pick up Alyssa right now and eat a snow cone in their face bc someone said I'm fat. Bet her fat self wish she had a snow cone. How you doin'?

Last night I tried to go to Karaoke but they weren't allowing minors like they used to do, and I had two with me. QUE TRISTE!

Saturday Night

Never go to Mac's Tavern and Grill, it was totally lame.
The karaoke dj was totally horrible, and the crowd was boring.
I did enjoy that not many people were smoking and I wasn't crying.
Dyan sang Still Fly by Big Tymers and was totes awesome.

Krazy Party

I am a social outcast, therefore large groups of people tend to freak me out, and people annoy me easily. Last night at Mo's Party, the people were just weird and psycho for the most part. I tried to break out of my shell, but I don't think I was successful. I did push the cake that I made on everyone like I was some type of drug pusher. I drank a whole bottle of wine within a little amount of time so that I could get buzzed, but my buzz died after I had an successful power nap. I really enjoyed the falafel and chicken nuggets, they were fantastic. My favorite part of the evening was watching cheaters. The worst part would have been when I was molested by Wes, I was going for a handshake and he hugged me instead, it freaked me out a little, so I just hugged back; I didn't know what else to do.
I really had fun last night.
I also ran a red light driving home, I don't wait at 3:40 AM.
Party Wisdom: If a guy likes you, he will cum on you! LOL.
